Our chefs, David and Rob are constantly creating new and exciting dishes incorporating fresh local produce, such as meats from Russells in Meldreth, and ales from the Potton Brewing Company.

We continuously change our menus to suit the season, and meals on offer combine innovative ideas alongside traditional favourites.

Lunch is served every day from our bar menu and ever-changing specials board in our bar areas and garden (weather permitting). In addition, we also have an a la carte menu which is available in the evenings in the oak-paneled dining room with its fabulous feature fireplace.

On Sundays we serve a very popular three course carvery. There is always a choice of three different meats, as well as a vegetarian option, along with all the trimmings. We do advise you to book as space is limited.

The special “£5 Lunch” is available Monday to Friday (except on public holidays) and changes every day.

The public bar is open daily from 11.30 am until 11.00 pm (12.00 noon to 10.30 pm on Sundays and on public holidays). We stock a wide choice of fine wines and spirits, as well as our very popular real ales which are constantly changing. Dedicated to promoting local suppliers where we can, you will regularly find such delights as Potton’s “Village Bike” and Buntingford’s “Britannia”. Naturally, there is a large range of soft drinks available, as well as a selection of speciality teas and coffees.

Newspapers are delivered daily, and you are more than welcome to borrow a book from our ever-increasing library.
